Maybe it's time to just feel.

It's funny how Meredith Grey always seems to have the best lines on Grey's. Okay, then again, I'm always a sucker for the quotes that Shonda Rhimes writes, simply because they teach you so much about life and they're just simply too beautiful.

I hate it how Grey's Anatomy always makes me cry. Whether it's someone's family member crying, someone breaking up or someone just experiencing shit on the show, it always makes me cry. Yes, the show takes place in a hospital and the show isn't reality. But it is one of those shows that is close enough to reality to touch me and make me see life.

I watched Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging the other night. And I cried like a baby at that movie. I know it's some dumb-ass teenage chick flick but still... I saw so much of myself in that show that it couldn't help but bring on the tears.

Georgia found her perfect ending. Her life was screwed up before and now it's okay. That's unfair. Fine, so it's not as unfair as Shelley on Grey's who found out that she really is gonna die cos the doctors can't do anything else for her but still, it is unfair.

Or maybe I'm just being selfish. I don't know. Shelley's life is unfair because there's so much she hasn't experienced and she was gonna die of cancer. Maybe it's time to take the advice of another doctor on Grey's, who said, "Yes. Horrible things DO happen. Happiness in the face of all of that? That's not the goal. Feeling the horrible and knowing that you're not gonna die from those feelings...that's the point."

I feel horrible, but I know I'm not gonna die from the feelings I have now. Maybe, just maybe, this really is the point.

What sucks, is that whatever the point is, I'm still gonna cry. I'm still gonna be upset. My tear ducts are still gonna cry until they can cry no more. I'll still be listening to sad songs till my ears tell me it's enough but the songs will still keep playing. Whatever the point is, I reckon my life still sucks. So tell me again, what's the use of living and what's the use of hoping that he'll even answer my call or reply to me?
